Engage

The Engage feature is the heart of replyboss. It helps you find relevant conversations, generate AI-powered replies in your voice, and engage authentically without spending hours scrolling Twitter.

Overview

Engage provides three main tabs:

1. Stream - Real-time feed of tweets from your saved handles
2. Search - Find relevant tweets by keyword or topic
3. Communities - Monitor tweets from X Communities you follow

Stream Tab

The Stream tab shows a real-time feed of tweets from accounts you've saved. This is your primary engagement dashboard.

How It Works

1. Save handles in the Saved section
2. Their recent tweets appear in your Stream
3. Review tweets and generate AI replies
4. Approve and post directly to X

Filtering Your Stream

Use filters to focus on what matters:

• Time range - Show tweets from last hour, 24 hours, 7 days
• Engagement threshold - Filter by minimum likes/retweets
• Keywords - Only show tweets containing specific words

Search Tab

Search for tweets by keyword to find new engagement opportunities beyond your saved handles.

Searching for Tweets

1. Enter your search keywords
2. Set filters (time range, engagement minimum)
3. Click Search
4. Review results and engage

Search Tips

• Use quotes for exact phrases: "product launch"
• Combine keywords: startup funding
• Filter by account: from:username
• Exclude words: startup -crypto

AI-Powered Replies

The magic of ReplyBoss is generating authentic replies that sound like you.

Generating a Reply

1. Find a tweet you want to engage with
2. Click Generate Reply
3. The AI analyzes the tweet context
4. You receive 1-3 reply suggestions
5. Edit the reply to add your personal touch
6. Click Post to send directly to X

Customizing Your AI Voice

Your replies should sound like YOU, not a robot. replyboss learns your style from:

• Your existing tweets and replies
• Custom prompts you provide
• Feedback on generated replies

AI Generation Limits

Tip: Use BYOK (Bring Your Own AI Key) on paid plans for unlimited generations.

Posting Replies

When you approve a reply:

1. Review the generated text
2. Make any edits you want
3. Click Post Reply
4. The reply is posted from your connected X account
5. Track the reply in your engagement history

Important: You're Always in Control

replyboss never posts without your explicit approval:

• You review every reply before posting
• You can edit any generated text
• You decide what gets posted
• No automated posting or scheduling

Stream Alerts

Set up alerts to never miss important tweets.

Creating an Alert

1. Go to the Stream tab
2. Click Set Alert
3. Choose alert criteria (keywords, accounts, engagement threshold)
4. Enable notifications

Notification Options

• In-app notifications - See alerts in ReplyBoss
• Slack integration - Get alerts in your Slack workspace

Best Practices

Quality Over Quantity

• Focus on adding genuine value
• Don't reply to every tweet - be selective
• Engage in conversations you can meaningfully contribute to

Timing Matters

• Engage with recent tweets (within 1-2 hours)
• Earlier replies get more visibility
• Fresh conversations are more valuable

Build Relationships

• Reply to the same accounts consistently
• Follow up on conversations
• Track who you engage with using tags

Troubleshooting

No Tweets in Stream

• Make sure you've saved at least some handles
• Check your filter settings aren't too restrictive
• Try refreshing the page

AI Replies Don't Sound Like Me

• Update your custom prompts in Settings
• Provide more example tweets of your style
• Always edit generated replies to add your personal touch
