Understanding Usage Limits
Items
Items are consumed when you perform searches and analysis:
- 1 search ≈ 20 items (tweets or followers analyzed)
- Follower analysis counts items
- List analysis counts items
- Tweet searches count items
Items reset monthly on your billing date.
AI Generations
AI generations are used when generating reply suggestions:
- Free: 50 per month
- Creator: 50 per day per X account
- Team: 200 per day per X account
BYOK Tip: On paid plans, bring your own AI API key for unlimited generations.
Stream Handles
Stream handles allow real-time tweet monitoring (experimental feature):
- Free: Not available
- Creator/Team: 10 handles per account
Upgrading Your Plan
From the Dashboard
- Go to Billing in the sidebar
- Review available plans
- Select your tier (Creator or Team)
- Choose number of X accounts
- Select billing interval (monthly or yearly)
- Complete checkout via Stripe
Upgrade Benefits
When you upgrade:
- Increased limits apply immediately
- No data loss - all saved handles and settings preserved
- Yearly plans save ~17% compared to monthly
Managing Your Subscription
Viewing Your Plan
Go to Billing to see:
- Current plan and tier
- Usage vs limits for each category
- Next billing date
- Payment method on file
Changing Plans
Changing Tier (Creator ↔ Team):
- Go to Billing
- Click Change Plan
- Select new tier
- Confirm the change
Changing X Account Quantity:
- Go to Billing
- Adjust the number of accounts
- See prorated pricing
- Confirm changes
Switching Billing Interval:
- Go to Billing
- Switch between monthly/yearly
- Changes apply at next billing cycle
Canceling Your Subscription
To cancel:
- Go to Billing
- Click Manage Subscription (Stripe portal)
- Cancel subscription
After cancellation:
- Access continues until billing period ends
- You revert to Free plan limits
- Data is retained

Troubleshooting
Payment Failed
If your payment fails:
- Update payment method in Stripe portal
- Ensure sufficient funds
- Check for card restrictions
- Try a different card
Can't Access Features
If features are locked:
- Check your plan includes the feature
- Verify you haven't hit usage limits
- Ensure subscription is active
Usage Not Resetting
Usage resets on your billing date, not calendar month. Check your billing date in the Billing page.
